Anglian Flight Centres

Anglian Flight Centres (ATO) at Earls Colne Airfield have a team of dedicated, supportive instructors, ground staff and operate a variety of aircraft, with good availability for flying instruction and private pilot hire.

Here, you will find a warm, welcoming atmosphere at our club house, with plenty of coffee or tea to drink while you chat with other pilots and students about flying experiences.

We offer Private Pilot Licence (PPL), and National Private Pilot Licence (NPPL) courses as well as ratings for night, aerobatics, and Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC). Having learnt to fly, many of our members have continued training with us to an advanced level, and then gone into the professional world of instructor or airline pilot.

You’re bound to make new friends whilst learning to fly, and will be able to get together once you have your licence to explore airfields further afield.
